Most days go sideways before they start because the plan lives in your head. The Today method moves it onto one short list, in five minutes.
Start from the view that only shows what is due now. Overdue items and anything due today appear together, grouped by page, so you see the real size of your day.
A day has room for a handful of meaningful tasks. Move everything that can wait to tomorrow or later, and be honest about how long each task takes.
Order what is left by time and energy, and put the task you are most likely to avoid at the top. Add a time chip so it has a slot, not just a wish.
Tick things off as you go. The progress bar at the top of Today turns a long day into something you can watch getting shorter.
