10 keyboard shortcuts to get things done faster

A few shortcuts remove most of the clicking. These are the ones worth learning first.

Capture and find

The two you will use daily.

  • ⌘ ⇧ A: quick add from anywhere
  • ⌘ K: search every task, project and note

Move around

Jump between your main views without reaching for the mouse.

  • G then T: go to Today
  • G then I: go to Inbox
  • G then S: go to Starred

Act on tasks

With a task selected, these keep your hands on the keyboard.

  • Space: complete or reopen
  • D: set a due date
  • S: star the task
  • ⌘ ⌫: delete
